We couldn't believe the incredible value for money we got at this guest house. The room was cozy but had everything we needed, plus a lovely view of the river. The location was absolutely breathtaking, and the staff were warm and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Breakfast delights could have been improved with a wider selection of pastries and baked goods.

We definitely got great value for our money at this guest house. The room was super comfortable and the shower was amazing. The location was stunning, with beautiful views of the castle and the river. The staff treated us like family, making us feel so welcomed and at home.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more locally sourced cheese, meats, jams, and cakes. Fresh orange juice from the abundant oranges in the area would have been a nice addition.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with the village and castle in the distance. It was a unique and breathtaking sight to wake up to every morning. the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
That our room felt a bit cramped for our family of four. It would have been more comfortable with a bit more space.

During our recent stay at Quinta Do Vau, we were delighted by the location and view. The property offered a stunning backdrop, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in the idyllic Portuguese setting. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff was friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Additionally, the breakfasts provided by the hotel were simply off the scale - a scrumptious start to each day. The comfortable amenities in our room, including a pool area and beautiful views, were the icing on the cake. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as a musty smell upon entering the room and a slightly noisy fridge, our overall experience at Quinta Do Vau Guest House was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

The location of the hotel was absolutely fabulous, with stunning views of the castle and the river. It was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The property had a small pool and plenty of outside seating, which was great for enjoying the sunshine. the staff, particularly Beatrice, were fantastic. She was always friendly, helpful, and spoke good English.
One of the downsides of the hotel was the lack of information provided about the facilities and the local area. It would have been helpful to have an introduction to the hotel and details about what was available and where things were located.
